snow, Snow, SNOW!

So I came to a realization this morning about good ole Rexburg, ID. Springtime is just a tease. We are teased with nice 40-50 degree weather, where the sun shines and snow begins to melt. Its a lovely feeling. A feeling of freedom from winter jackets and houses with heaters. Then you wake up to a day like today. A couple inches of snow are covering sidewalks, cars, and streets. The wind is blowing, making the cold day even colder. All the progress you feel the process of Spring has made disappears. And I am once again reminded that I will most likely not see Spring. On Ground Hog's Day one of Daniel's teachers said after hearing that there would not be six more weeks of winter, "That does not apply to Rexburg." Oh goody!
So now what do I say?? Bring on the snowy days and the blistery wind!! I leave for Arizona in two weeks for two weeks! I will unthaw then. Then come back to Frozen Tundra and settle in till Summer! I am now to the point where, like the Little Engine that Could, I whisper to myself, "I think I can, I think I can." At times like these I become so thankful for all the little things. I have two wonderful heaters in my house I can sit by for as long as I need! Lots of blankets! (Granny I use the one you made for our wedding often.) A toasty warm husband who likes to snuggle! A cozy apartment that stays warm and guards us from the snow and wind. So once again I say "Bring on the snow!" I will try to stay unfrozen (and happy :)) until happy, warm summertime arrives!

Learning How to Post Pics!!

So this is just me learning how to post some pictures! and I thought I would share some fun times we have had recently!

Dan and his friend Jeremy coached an Ultimate

Yeehaw!!

We spent Christmas with my Fam in good ole AZ!

While there, we took family pictures!

I Live!

Hello, hello! So I had some cousins recently telling me I need to update my blog (Ok, ok so it has been 2 years..). Thus, here I am once again! Wish me luck!

So when we last talked I was recently engaged:). I am now full blown married! I am so thankful to have that first year over and done with! Ha! It was hard and we had a lot of learning to do! But seriously, I see all these newly married girls saying how much they love being married and how much they love their husbands...I guess I missed that one! ...But all teasing aside, I do love being married. It has taught me so much. I am so thankful for this time in my life to grow closer to Heavenly Father and my hubby. It does bring true happiness.

Dan and I are just living it up snow style! Actually I try to not involve the snow in my life as much as possible. I am such a wimp when it comes to cold. But what can I say? Arizona, born and raised!! Daniel is in school now, he works so hard to do well in all his classes. He is working on a Communications Major, and is also looking at continuing into Law school. He enjoys school but is definitely looking forward to this summer when he has no homework for a while. He also works at the school radio station 3 times a week. He really enjoys doing that and does a pretty good job, if I do say so myself! :) And me? I am just workin! I work for a facility here that services the mentally disabled. The work is really enjoyable to me. I love spending time with that population of people. I learn so much about myself and just how to love others. We attend a family ward here and we both have callings in the nursery. As Dan has said before, his guilty pleasures are now "play-do and goldfish crackers". We have a lot of fun in there. :)

Welp, I guess that is all for now! I caught you up a bit. Love y'all and will talk to you soon! Happy day!

Long time no talk!! Ha a lot has happened since this thing was last updated. A lot of good things I would say! I guess I will first start at the beginning. I moved to Rexburg about 5 months ago. When I moved here I met an RM named Daniel Thompson. We started hangin out a lot. In groups and also just the two of us. At first i thought, "Wow! What a fun friendship this is going to be!" I really liked being with him and I enjoyed our conversations we had. Well it didnt take long for me to realize I was startin to like this guy a little bit more then a friend. And the same went for him! So a couple months after our first meeting we began dating "officially".

I have loved getting to know this young man. He is so friendly and hardworking. He has the most contagious smile, I love it! Daniel is attending BYU-I and majoring in Communications. He is a convert to the church and the only memeber in his family. He has a strong testimony which shows in his everyday living. He is from a small town in Texas called Vidor. He served his mission in the Philippines which is kinda cool because he is Philippino. He spoke the language of Tagalog which he has lately been trying to teach me. :) We have a lot of fun together, we bowl a lot (which i am really not partial to cause i stink!), watch movies, go on walks, and make lots of yummy food! We just really enjoy each others company.

So now after about five months he has asked me to marry him! Crazy thought, me being engaged. :) But I am so happy! He is so wonderful and I am so excited for our life together.

Haha, so how is this for an update??
